Getting Ready for a Wedding Part 3: EOTD Evening Look

While I was deciding on the clothes that I would be wearing and the cosmetics which I should carry for my friend's wedding, I thought about trying out different looks for the Evening Party a.k.a bachelor's party. The party is going to be held in the evening after the conclusion of the 'aaai budo bhaath'(?) (I hope I'm getting it right) which is an official maiden lunch hosted by the bride's parents (Bengali culture). So anyways, I'm sure all my girlfriends are going to be in a huge rush to dress up and step out-leaving me with very little time to do up my eyes. Considering the occasion and the time, I came up with the following eye makeup as one of the options for the upcoming party. Hope you enjoy the step by step guide to achieving this look :)

First up, let's begin with the products that I have used:

1. Elf Eyelid primer (you may use a concealer if you do not own a primer)
2. Elf Volume Pumping Mascara
3. Faces Canada Long wear eye pencil in solid black
4. Faces eyelash Curler
5. Elf 100 eyeshadow Palette; Although I used only 4 major colors and a highlighter ;)

The colors which I used on my lid are as follows:

Now for the look and how you can achieve it in these easy to follow steps:

1. Moisturize your eyes
2. Apply your concealer/ eyelid primer with the help of your ring finger (do not rub, instead dab it on the under eye area and on your lids)
3. With your little finger apply shade 5 (a light golden brown color) on the inner corner of your eye. Extend it a little to the inner corner of your lower lash line.
4. With the help of your middle finger dab on shade 2 (which is a light grey shimmery color) to 2/3rd of your eye, right next to shade 5 which you had used in step 3 for the inner corner of your eye.
5. Take whatever is left on your middle finger (from shade 2) and dab it lightly on your lower lashline (next  to shade 5-so that it covers 2/3 of your lower lashline)
6. Now with the help of your index finger pick up a little bit of shade 3 (bright pink color) and apply it on the outer corner of your eye, extending it to the outer portion of your lower lash line.
7. Use shade 5 (which you had used in the inner corner) slightly over shades 2 and 3 in order to blend those colors towards your brow area.
8. Use shade 4 (rich plum shimmery color) on your crease with the help of your ring finger. For doing this, apply the color first to the outer corner (Slightly above shade 3) and then move your finger inward towards shade 2.
9. Highlight your brow bone with the highlighter.
10. With the help of a dark black smudge-proof liner wing out your eyeliner, then curl your lashes and apply mascara. Dont forget to tightline your eyes!

TADA! and you are done. NOTE that I have used grey and plum with a hint of pink because this is going to be an evening look. I have made sure that all colors are shimmery. Additionally,I have not done a smokey eye because I felt that that would be more suitable for a night look.

Do let me know whether you liked my EOTD <3
